Counter-Culturally Catholic:
Shedding Light on Humanae Vitae

Please join us for an evening of insights and answers about the history and continuing relevance of this controversial yet crucial encyclical. Our expert speaker will present information and answer questions about Catholic teaching on the sacredness of human life, the practice of contraception which is in conflict with these values and on how we are called to live as Catholics in the world today.

- Where: Light of the World Roman Catholic Church Community Center
Our Speaker:

You are invited to join us for “Soaking Prayer” on the 1st Tuesday of every month @ 7:00 pm in the St. Avila room. “Soaking Prayer” is being immersed in God’s love as experienced members of the Prayer Team prays over you for 4-5 minutes or more. An occasional vision, prophecy or a scripture reading will be shared. Specific prayer requests are gently discouraged unless you have a specific burden. This is an opportunity to let Divine Wisdom – God – give you what you need. This type of prayer lets God set the agenda because he knows your needs. His love for you is fathomless. His understanding of you is complete.
On the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Worship Space @ 7:O0 pm, we gather to experience opportunities to praise and worship God, to seek His graces and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in order to be transformed into His likeness, which helps us be better prepared to serve others. Also, there are experienced prayer ministers available to pray for your individual needs.
For more information please contact Sheryl Montagne 303-973-2000.
