The Social Concerns Ministries at Light of the World, acting as a unified body of servants, give witness to the love of God for all people — in our parish, in our community and in the world.

In Matthew’s Gospel Jesus says, “I assure you, as often as you did it for one of my least brothers, you did it for me… as often as you neglected to do it to one of these least ones, you neglected to do it to me.” (Matthew 25:40,45)

As baptized Catholics, we link our faith with compassion by responding to the physical, financial, communal and spiritual needs of our sisters and brothers both near and far.
